I'm keeping this page pretty basic. For now it's a mainly a brief list of some of the things I've been involved in over approximately the past eight years. Feel free to get in touch by email if there's more you'd like to know.

The Late Night Partnership

Rob Chant and I set this up as a 'project business', whose aim is to start up, join, finance, or otherwise get involved in projects we believe in. The Creation Factory, initially set up by Doug Mather, was our first collaboration.

The Cambridge Web Marketing Company

This is a spin off from The Late Night Partnership's first solo project, db|design, which begun as a design company and slowly morphed into offering a range of online marketing services. Not being particularly interested in online marketing, I've gone my own way on this one, and Rob now heads the CWM company.

Writing

I've been involved in a couple of joint-venture writing projects over the years. I write poetry and fiction off and on. For many years it was more off than on, but I'm currently in the middle of a real on phase. As for actual novels - I've only written one. It's for children, which is unusual for me as most of my writing is aimed at adults. If you want to read some of my older poems you can find them here. None of my more recent work is up there. There's an old story of mine up there somewhere too - it's horribly overwritten and one day I'd love to revisit it and turn it into something more rounded.

Programming

I've contracted as a software developer on and off for a while. It wasn't something I trained in - it was initially just a side interest, which I discovered really appealed to my more logical side. At the moment I'm working for ANT Software in Cambridge.

Art

Mostly I paint in ink on paper, with a bit of ink pen and collage mixed in. I've gotten around to having a couple of exhibitions in the past and would like to do so again when other things settle down a bit! However I don't think I have a huge urge to make money from my art - it's more about the motivation and new pathways that sharing it with other people bring about.

Other Things

Well, there are far too many really. Too many for me to claim that any of them have had the attention they deserve. I guess one major thing I've left out is medicine. I did an MB at Warwick University medical school.
